Just bought a new iPhone? Start here.

Here’s a quick checklist to get your new iPhone ready:

 

1. Power On and Begin Setup

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to select language and region.
     

2. Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Required for activation and Apple ID login.
     

3. Sign In with Apple ID

  • Use your existing ID or create a new one.
     
  • Enable iCloud for backups and app sync.
     

4. Restore from Backup (Optional)

  • Choose iCloud, iTunes, or transfer directly from your old iPhone.
     

5. Set Up Face ID / Touch ID and Passcode

  • For unlocking and Apple Pay.
     

6. Customize Settings

  • Enable Siri, Screen Time, and location services as desired.
     

7. Install Updates and Apps
