Before You Begin

Before creating your Microsoft 365 account, consider the following:

• How many users will need access?
• Which Microsoft 365 plan best fits your business?
• Do you already own a domain name?
• Will you be migrating from another email provider?

Planning ahead can make the setup process much smoother.

Sign Up for Microsoft 365

1. Visit the official Microsoft 365 website.
2. Select the Business plan that best meets your needs.
3. Create a Microsoft account or sign in with an existing account.
4. Enter your business information.
5. Choose your subscription and payment method.
6. Create your administrator account.
7. Follow the setup wizard to complete your Microsoft 365 setup.

Connect Your Business Domain

If you already own a domain name, Microsoft 365 allows you to connect it so your business email uses your company domain instead of a generic Microsoft address.

This typically involves verifying ownership of your domain and updating your DNS records. Once completed, you can begin creating professional email addresses for your business.

Add Users

After your Microsoft 365 subscription is active, you can begin adding employees and assigning licenses.
